Another favourite piece this season is our Kallia pleated shirt, fashioned in white cotton with fine sewn pleats. A stand-out feature is the interesting barrel-shaped cut of the sleeves. Bias-cut inserts on the hip also use the pleats directionally, for added visual interest and a more flattering effect. Lastly, princess seams and the long lines of the stitched pleats draw the eye downwards and slim the torso. Wear this one with the sleeves down for an artistic look that dares to be different, or push the sleeves up for the basic white collared shirt that’s not so basic after all.
